The Vanguard was an EF76 Nebulon-B Escort Frigate commanded by General Jan Dodonna that was a part of the Rebel Alliance's fleet.
It was one of three frigates that were part of Dodonna's fleet, and was painted with red markings. The frigate was destroyed when the fleet tried to escape Atollon from the Seventh Fleet. The destroyed wreck of the frigate was enough cover for P1, P3, a GR-75 Medium Transport, two Alderaan Cruisers, two Dornean Gunships the Ghost, and some A-Wings and Y-Wings to fall back to Atollon.
