The rebels contact freedom fighter Cham Syndulla, who needs help to fight off the Imperial bombing attack on his planet. While coordinating a plan to overtake and steal the carrier that houses these Imperial bombers, the rebels discover that Cham may have a plan of his own.

What did everyone think of the fifteenth episode of the second season of Star Wars Rebels?

    • This episode had a good story. We see another set of characters from the previous series and a lot more of Hera's past is explained. We also hear Hera speak in her natural Twi'lek accent. The climax and the ending was perfect. Both Hera and Cham show new loyalty and respect for one another, forming a better relationship between father and daughter.

Kanan was funny to watch. He was all nervous around Cham, and even mixed up Sabine, Zeb, and Ezra's names during their first meeting. Their reactions were priceless. He also forgot to introduce Chopper.

    • At the beginning, I didn't here what the planet's name was the first time, but when I heard it, I mind went like, "Oh my gosh! It's Hera's home planet!".

    • Rebels who are fighting for their own bussiness. Not united.

It's just me or did Hera sound like little bit Russian

    • Pretty sure it's just you. I heard ever-so-slightly American-affected French. And my own voice gasping and going "Oh, so she was faking an accent!" of course. :)

I absolutely loved the episode! 9/10. The only thing that would've made it better for me was if Numa and Gobi had more lines and if Waxer and Boil had a mention. :) I loved the 'Hammer of Ryloth' reference to the web-comic and the cruiser being the design for the Flurry from Truce at Bakura! Little EU nods always take the sting out of losing a lot of it.

    • I was VERY SURPRISED that Cham double crossed Hera and the gang.

    • "It's just me or did Hera sound like little bit Russian " -- officially it's supposed to be "a vaguely French inspired accent" ...but it's done so loosely that it practically sounds Russian. Heck until I read it was supposed to be French...-ish, I was wondering "is this supposed to be German or Russian or what?"

Keep in mind that the voice actors who play other Twi'leks are cast on their ability to speak in this accent. The Hera voice actress was cast on her ability to speak in Hera's everyday voice....not on her ability to convincingly do that Twi'lek accent.

Honestly, I wasn't. He was so desperate to make a statement for his people and was in pretty bad terms with her at the moment. Pulling something on Hera wasn't really surprising, I just didn't quite expect the methods. If he wanted to make sure they weren't going to stop him (without killing them, of course), he should've waited until they were near an area he could close off or lock down before the double-cross, then just go get them out once he was and when they were ready to leave the ship... unless if he wasn't planning on leaving the ship, of course. I wouldn't put it past Cham to have blown himself up with the ship if it meant turning the tide in the Free Ryloth Movement's favor in taking back Ryloth.

Actually, Hera's VA auditioned using both American and French accents, since the former's her natural speaking voice and she's fluent in French. They probably just decided for her to use the natural accent because it's easier for about 98% of the audience to understand. Why they had her slip in-and-out of the Twi'lek/French accent when she was speaking to Cham was like when someone who's moved away from their home and learned to use another accent slip in and out of their original one when they're angry with family members, it was supposed to be kind of an instinctive reaction to return to her native accent. I actually kind of loved that they did that, it really emphasized just how upset she was with Cham in that moment.

    • The episode is now on demand. We need an article for the Quasar Fire Class Carrier. For inspiration, here's it's wookieepedia article. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Quasar_Fire-Class_Cruiser-Carrier

    • I'd do it, but my internet connection's super-spotty at the moment. It took me three tries and about twenty minutes of just page-loading to post this... not a good time to be editing articles, I guess.

I made one weeks ago when it appeared in a trailer. The article was renamed to "Imperial Light Carrier" because that's the only thing it's called in on-screen dialogue.

He did that because he wanted all of Ryloth to see the ship blow up. And he cufted her when she was in a TIE bomber that was in a hanger of the Empire's ship!
