The Star Commuter Shuttle was a transportation shuttle, manufactured by Sacul Industries. This ship was modeled after the Star Commuter 2000.
The shuttles were piloted by RX-Series droids, and served as public transports between nearby planets. Due to Imperial regulations, all droids were to be sent to the back of the ship.
History[]
One such shuttle was piloted by RX-24 (also known as "Rex"), an RX-Series droid. On his first flight, Rex was tasked with accompanying Prime Minister Maketh Tua and her business associate Amda Wabo to the planet Garel. For translation reasons, Tua was accompanied by a protocol droid named C-3PO, along with his friend R2-D2. In addition to the Imperials, the rebel crew of the Ghost were also aboard the shuttle, preparing for an Imperial supply raid.
Yet another shuttle was used to transport a GNK Power Droid to Garel in order to make contact with rebel forces there for transit to another base. However, this came to the knowledge of Black Sun Bounty Hunter Ketsu Onyo, who attempted to seize the droid for her employers only to run afoul of the rebels Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger. Sabine managed to escape with the droid aboard the shuttle it had come in, only to be attacked by Onyo's Shadow Caster in space above Garel. The pair later joined forces and rigged the shuttle to explode so that they could flee Imperial forces in the Shadow Caster.

Trivia[]
- The Star Commuter shuttle is made to resemble the StarSpeeder 3000, from the Star Tours attraction at Disney Parks, including the fact RX-24 piloted the StarSpeeder 3000, as well as the Star Commuter Shuttle.
