The Sixth Brother (formerly known as Bil Valen) was a male member of the Inquisitorius. In the year following the end of the Clone Wars, the Sixth Brother, as well as the rest of the Inquisitors, kidnapped Force-sensitive children and hunted for Jedi who survived Order 66. He was killed by Ahsoka Tano during the uprising on Raada.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
Bil Valen, later known as the Sixth Brother, hailed from the planet of an unnamed species, where he was born about twelve years before the Invasion of Naboo. Like most of his fellow Inquisitors, he occupied a position in the Jedi Order. After Darth Sidious, publicly known as Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine, reorganized the Galactic Republic into the Galactic Empire and declared himself Emperor, the Sixth Brother came into the service of the Empire and the Sith. Although not a Sith himself, he was tasked by Sidious' apprentice, Darth Vader, with becoming part of an agency of Dark Jedi called the Inquisitorius in hunting down and eliminating any Jedi who survived Order 66. To accomplish this task he was trained by Vader in the ways of the dark side of the Force and studied the records of the Jedi Temple in order to defeat his enemies.
Investigating Force-Sensitives[]
The Sixth Brother intercepted surveillance holos and reports indicating that a Force-sensitive child may be active on Thabeska. While on Thabeska, the Brother received a message from low-level district commander on the moon of Raada. The report indicated that a Force-sensitive being, old enough to have received Jedi training, was active on the backwater moon. The Brother then proceeded to close his file on the child in Thabeska and head to Raada to investigate a possible Jedi.
Hunting Ahsoka Tano[]
The Sixth Brother traveled to Raada to hunt down the Jedi spotted on the small agricultural moon. He learned from Jenneth Pilar, an information broker working with the Empire on the moon, that a Jedi or Padawan had been involved in an uprising by a local farmer community. During the uprising, teenage farm worker Kaeden Larte had been captured and tortured for information. The Brother scoffed at the techniques used on Kaeden, which proved ineffective. The Brother learned that Kaeden was then broken out of the Raada Imperial Base by a Force-sensitive being.
The Brother tracked Kaeden and the other farm workers who rebelled to a set of mountain caves far from the settlement. Kaeden surrendered herself to the Inquisitor, but her friends soon attacked him. The Brother deflected the blaster bolts shot by the farmers, killing them. As a show of strength, the Brother threw his lightsaber at the Rodian farmer, Kolvin, who was instantly cut in half.
Ahsoka Tano returned to Raada, and discovered that the The Sixth Brother had kidnapped Kaeden. Ahsoka was in the process of rebuilding her lightsabers, and heard the Kyber Crystals in the Brother's double-bladed lightsaber sing to her. During her battle with the Brother, Ahsoka used the Force to pull the crystals from his lightsaber. The lightsaber became unstable and exploded, killing the Sixth Brother.
Personality[]
The Sixth Brother demonstrated a vicious and ruthless personality, being completely comfortable with the idea of killing innocent beings-even children-and detesting those aspects of his mission that prevented him from acting in such a matter. He was also known to have relished the idea of more challenging prey and feared competition from his fellow Inquisitors.
He showed a great disdain for Jedi, claiming they were "heartless and cold" and "didn't even understand what love is". Although Ahsoka assumed that someone had taught him this, from the way he said it, it may have been from personal experience.
The Sixth Brother was also arrogant, claiming himself to be "the future" and displaying over-confidence during his fight with Ahsoka, which ultimately led to his demise.
Abilities[]
The Sixth Brother showed very little in the way of his powers and abilities during his hunt for a Force-sensitive on Thabeska as well as his confrontation with Ahsoka. Ahsoka described him as "relying on his brute strength" and apparent inability to fight with the faceplate of his armor in place. He was competent with an Inquisitor's lightsaber, being able to both deflect blaster bolts and throw his saber in order to kill Kolvin.

Trivia[]
- Like the Fifth Brother, the Sixth Brother is described as a member of an unknown, gray-skinned species; it is unknown if the two are members of the same species or if this is merely coincidence, and Ahsoka seems to imply that the coloring of the Sixth Brother may not have been natural. He was also noted as having strange, tattoo-like markings and blue eyes. It is also unknown whether the Sixth Brother's position was filled by another Inquisitor following his demise.
