The Pelta-class Frigate was a cargo and medical vessel used by the Galactic Republic. Originally in service to transport wounded clones to medical stations during the Clone Wars, the frigates were repurposed by the Rebellion as capital ships in their growing fleet.
One such ship, Phoenix Home, was the lead ship of Phoenix Squadron, under the command of rebel commander Jun Sato. The command ship was refitted with a forward bridge and a small underside hangar for the squadron's A-Wing Starfighters. Phoenix Home was eventually destroyed by Darth Vader in his TIE Advanced x1 single-handedly, forcing Sato and his crew to reluctantly abandon ship and retreat.
