The Quasar Fire-class Cruiser-Carrier, also known as the Imperial Light Carrier, was a bulk freighter used by the Galactic Empire. Its modular storage compartments made it ideal for housing and deploying starfighters.
One of these carriers was positioned over Ryloth to deploy TIE Bombers to attack the Twi'lek resistance on the planet. However, the Ghost Crew stole the carrier for the Rebellion with the help of Cham Syndulla and the Free Ryloth Movement. This carrier, christened the Phoenix Nest, was then used as a mobile fighter base and flagship for Phoenix Squadron. It was then later destroyed, when Commander Sato rammed it into Admiral Konstantine's Interdictor. This was to help Ezra Bridger to escape and gain reinforcements from Sabine Wren and Clan Wren.
