Star Wars Rebels Season Three 31 Once a secret is known, it cannot be unknown.

This article contains several key plot-points. Proceed with caution.

The Quasar Fire-class Cruiser-Carrier, also known as the Imperial Light Carrier, was a bulk freighter used by the Galactic Empire. Its modular storage compartments made it ideal for housing and deploying starfighters. One of these carriers was positioned over Ryloth to deploy TIE Bombers to attack the Twi'lek resistance on the planet. The Ghost Crew, however, stole the carrier for the Rebellion with the help of Cham Syndulla. The Imperial Light Carrier was then used as a ship for Phoenix Squadron.

Trivia

  • The Quasar Fire-class carrier was first introduced in the original Expanded Universe novel The Truce at Bakura in 1994. The visual design is based on artwork of the Quasar Fire-class by Doug Chiang and Troy Vigil created for the first edition of The Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels.
