The emblem of the Republic
The Grand Army of the Republic was an army formed for the Clone Wars to fight on behalf of the Galactic Republic. It consisted of thousands if not millions of Clone Troopers under the leadership of the Jedi; however, in truth the army had been created by Sith Master Sheev Palpatine in order to destroy the Jedi.
