Led by a more powerful Ezra, a rebel mission goes awry, and Kanan returns to help the Ghost crew. Grand Admiral Thrawn emerges as a new threat.
What did everyone think of the first episode of the third season of Star Wars Rebels?

I really liked Steps Into Shadow I can't wait for more Thrawn this was his first episode he appeared in and he's already one hundred steps in front of everbody. Also I can't wait for more Bendu' I want to know if he's going to be a villian or hero or maybe even neither. It was a really awesome episode  :)
I thought it was awesome.
Dunno about you all, But MY favorite part was when Ezra made the walker...'walk' off the platform, and his tone of voice when sabne asks him when Kanan taught him that.
"He didn't"
Anyone else notice the emphasis there?
Of course he is. There is the fact that he's going to combine the holocrons with Maul, who is clearly using him. Big mistake right there.

Yeah... that face he makes right after he makes the pilot commit suicide... it gave me chills. Then ON TOP of that, (what u mentioned) this exchange,
"When did Kanan teach you that?"
"He didn't"
AAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! (Excuse me while I go freak out in a corner)
Yes. I agree. Sounds like he is so good, he doesn't need Kanan..
So it would seem, but yeah, he needs Kanan now more than ever.
So, one day he needs Kana, and the next, he doesn't?
Ezzy started needing Kanan as soon as the Sith Holocron went poof out of Ezzy's life.

The first time I watched it, I knew Ezra was training with the Sith Holocron. The last shot of Twilight of the Apprentice gave that away. But still, the exchange with Sabine and Ezra still makes you think, "If Kanan didn't teach him, who did?"
Well, thats how I felt. I knew it was the holocron, but I seemed to forget at that moment. I seemed to forget how Ezra obtained this power, even though I knew.
And yes, the face Ezra makes... oh my gosh. That's all I have to say! It seems like he's glad he did it, but he's angry about it too. Is there a better way to word what I just said? I don't know, and I don't really care.
