Did you notice how cold Admiral Constantine was? Not even a simple "Hey, how's your leg? Glad you made it out of there alive." All Kallus could do was go back to his austere grey cabin and enjoy his pain in solitude.

Speaking of leg, I know exactly how Kallus feels - when I was a kid, I sprained my ankle so bad that I couldn't walk for two weeks.
