Jokes aside, a reconciliation between mortal enemies is a great plot twist. Zeb will never forget the past... but he won't live in it either. Kallus won't stop chasing the rebels... but he won't be so fanatical anymore.

Both characters grew up a little. This reminds me a little of Londo and G'Kar from Babylon 5 - another pair of mortal enemies who became (almost) best friends by the end of the show.
