Wow, I actually lost hope in this and it actually happened. What are the odds...
It's obvious their doing to distract us from TLJ and Solo, but who cares.
Wow, just the two episodes. I mean, the first one was basically a setup kind of a setup filler in my opinion but still good regardless. The second one, just incredible. Kind of new to getting use to the fact that time travel is possible in Star Wars but after seeing The Last Jedi, I guess anything is possible with the force.
I wonder if we might get comics and novels that dive deeper into time travel, but i guess since Ezra is the first one too it's unlikely.
Still seeing Ahsoka and Palpatine return was really good and fit into the story better than expected, but thanks to YouTube it sort of spoiled me on their return like the first thing on my YouTube suggestions.
I assume Ahsoka won't return for the finale and while i am guessing her return will be novels or comics, still great to unravel that mystery onscreen.
Wow, it looks like the End has came, next will be the two-part series finale of Rebels, guess it will be all over.
I'm not a person who cries over stuff. I've been through a fair share of emotional trauma in my life from an early age, so if I'm crying, it's about something that hits seriously close to home.
The end of this episode had silent tears rolling down my face all throughout DUME. 'Nuff said.
Mission accomplished, Spectre-1. And you kept that promise to Hera--you finally saw her again. May the Force be with you, always...
Whoah. I did not cry in the episode...
But that legit brought tears to my eyes, Jess.
Same, was one of the the most saddest moment ever. It was really hard to see him die i guess i expected him to die, but not that soon and fast.
This post is kind of old but, Palpatine decommissioned all the clones after the formation of the Empire and Boil would be really old.

Or Civil War, a.k.a. Avengers 2.5. :) Eh, Loki's illusion was more of a joke than an actual Cap appearance, like the post-credits on IM3 revealing that Tony's entire monologue was him talking to Banner (which I thought was the best thing of the movie, honestly) but if I start talking about this I'll go on a whole MCU monologue on how they can find a bunch of places to sneak in Captain Marvel before her movie comes out so I don't have to wait two more bloody years for my favorite superhero to finally get her twice-delayed movie; so I digress...
What was it George was so fond of saying with SW? It's like poetry, everything rhymes? We're definitely going to see the Battle of Lothal as the end of the series. It's everything the series has led up to since the beginning. Ezra never wanted to leave Lothal, and he's been fighting and rallying to save Lothal ever since they were forced to go. Honestly, having it end anywhere else at this point feels like a cheap shortcut.
But really, I'm not worried about where the show ends anymore. I'm worried about how. If Scarif and Yavin were the Alliance's first real victories... then what happened in the Battle of Lothal? Did they win? Did they lose? Was it nothing but a cheap victory where they gained ground but lost everything to get it? Those are the real questions that need answering―and I'm kind of afraid of what exactly those answers are going to be.
Yeah, I really wanna finally get Captain Marvel in the MCU, she is also confirmed to be in Avengers 4.
I kind of wish since Rebels is airing new episodes twice a week it would be on separate days a week. (like a new episode on Monday and a new one on Friday)
Jessanna Stansu wrote: Exactly. Having him show up is more fan-service than it is a viable plot point. It'd be like having, I dunno, Captain America show up in a Thor movie simply because they wanted a Cap/Thor team-up rather than give a compelling reason for it. They're teammates, sure, but they're kind of on opposite sides of the story spectrum so unless it's an Avengers thing, it doesn't make any sense. (Sorry if it's mildly off-topic, brain's on Ragnarok and this was the first thing that came to mind as an example)
Then again, with that in mind Ahsoka coming back is kinda fan-service too... and now I hate my brain for going there...

I don't really see the Emperor coming into Rebels at this point. We've only seen him already once in the series and that's just when Vader contacts him. Although I do kind of wish we could see an animation model of him.
Since he isn't in ANH or Rogue One him appearing in the show sounds a bit forced.
Argh if only TLJ or TFA could have been released on my birthday it's only a few days off too bad.
But yeah it would be nice to see more solo missions done, especially with the season coming to a near end. I would love to see more Thrawn Easter eggs and references.
If you ask me it seems a bit too soon to go back to Lothal, the Empire is probably suspecting them but then again Ezra did make a promise.
That was a great trailer, kind of disappointing they didn't screen this at Celebration.
SO MANY WOLVES...Geez, i guess this is Dave Filoni who is incharge of the show kind of odd Wolves weren't in The Clone Wars but i guess it would have happened at the near end of the series if it didn't get cancelled.
Seeing Saw Gerrera's views compared to Mon Mothma's is something I look forward to see and Ezra's choices on it, since back in season three he went down a dark path (ish) using the Sith Holocron to use it for "good".
I also like some references and alluding Rogue One such as Stardust. Thrawn sents Rukh to capture Hera, wow seeing Hera hand in hand combat would be cool to see something different than we have seen.
Blyndblitz wrote: Sorry for necropost, but I think it would be highly awkward. We have no reason to believe that Boil disobeyed Order 66, and he likely carried out what the rest of the 212th did.
Well, I mean its was because of his inhibitor chip.
We might see Hera and Chopper make guest star or recurring appearances, knowing they survive Rebels.
Yeah, same. It kind of didn't make any sense.
So this is how theories die https://twitter.com/dave_filoni/status/872631916775657474

True, although it was sad seeing Sato die.
Hmmm hard one.
1. Twilight of the Apprentice 2. Steps into the Shadows 3. Spark of Rebellion 4. Call to Action 5. Trials of the Darksaber
Same to you as well!
