Well, my brain just exploded. So much so that I think I'm going to skip the all-caps fangirling this time and just list off what I really enjoyed. The action in this episode kept moving smoothly without being overwhelming. Excellent character development for Ezra--I thought it really brought his character full circle, just like they did with Kanan. The purrgil were unexpected but a nice touch for Ezra to play a major role in driving the Empire off Lothal. Also loved seeing Ryder and Pryce interact; lot of callbacks to the novel Thrawn. As for Thrawn... yeah, I'm just glad they didn't kill him. I wonder what they'll do with his next novel. And Ahsoka's return... I had a funny feeling that was the direction they would go in, and what made the last two minutes of the finale so secretive. A nice touch and awesome way to end the series. :) #AhsokaLives
Alsooooooo... HOLY CRAP WHAT THE WHAT EVEN I JUST CAN'T! HERA WAS PREGNANT?!?!?!
...when did she and Kanan even have time for that?
In all seriousness, really an excellent finale. I enjoyed every minute of both episodes and character growth they entailed. I like how they incorporated both strategic and symbolic victories by uniting the people of Lothal. It was a fitting end both for the Ghost Crew and Lothal's story and the series overall, whether you're a TCW fan or just watched rebels. Both shows came to an end today. And they brought a satisfying conclusion for all the characters we've come to know over the past decade. Even Hondo.
